The Role of Caregiver/Nursing Assistant

As a caregiver/nursing assistant within the psychiatric care on call, you will work in a smaller team with the task of implementing specialist psychiatric, person-centered interventions in the patient's immediate environment. Follow-up can occur through home visits or phone calls with the aim of creating a safe transition between inpatient and outpatient care, but also as an alternative to inpatient care. The catchment area for the care on call extends over the entire Höglandet.

The position is a full-time temporary position from 2025-04-01 to 2025-08-31. Working hours are day, evening, and weekend according to a five-week desired schedule. Start date is 2025-04-01 or by agreement.

Care On Call is a mobile psychiatric team that works with psychiatric care and treatment in the person's home.

At the psychiatric clinic Höglandet, we are about 190 employees. It is important for us to always have the patient in focus. We create trust and good conditions for effective qualitative psychiatric care through a holistic view and continuity in the care chain. In our work, we meet adults in the municipalities of Aneby, Eksjö, Nässjö, Tranås, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a trained caregiver or nursing assistant. If you have experience working in the profession or within psychiatric care, it is considered an advantage. Since travel is required in the position, you must have a valid driver's license (B).
